We have the expertise and experience to test the composition, structure, and properties of coatings, and perform in-depth forensic analysis and failure analysis of coating failures including delamination, cracking, flaking, discolouration, blistering, chemical attack, and more. We utilise techniques such as Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) coupled with microscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and DSC analysis to provide valuable insights into the molecular composition and chemical interactions within coatings. 

Durability assessment can be performed by UV weathering tests, salt spray tests, heat ageing or chemical compatibility tests, thereby testing against aggressive environments.
